Yesterday, I awoke to no power. I almost immediately learned my dependence on electricity. There was no heat, no internet, no computer, no television to watch, and dead batteries in our emergency radio. Reading was a possibility but, I'm between books and it was too dark. So I bundled up in warm clothes and headed out to see how the refuge looks
during a storm.
Here are some of the images I captured from the morning. I may expand this post later, but this weekend with campaigning, a wedding, church, and enjoying our daughter's returning for a visit, I am way to busy. So this time the images will have to tell the story. I hope you enjoy.

Hard to believe it's April 1st in MA. I'll be home mid-April. I hope you get some spring weather soon. I like the ice on the maple buds and the Ring-billed Gull on the Wood Duck box. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteLarry, Great photos! And they'll come in handy this July-August to cool us down when the temperature creeps up to 80, 90, 100 and its too hot to breathe. Thank you.

Larry, I am so impressed that you got yourself up and out on such a cold, snowy, dreary, "electicity-less" morning! These shots are wonderful, especially the one with the geese, just love it. Sandy
